We have just added a new feature on our roadmap and want your opinion before we actually build it.

Right now, it’s difficult for community owners and managers to get new members to post their introduction on the community. Many communities have a dedicated introductions channel; but it’s mostly empty in the early days of community when the activity is generally low.

How about we ask a simple question to the members right after they sign-up like

    • What’s one interesting thing you wish to share?

    • Tell us about yourself in one line

    • Tell us a joke etc.

Then, we use AI to automatically build an introduction post for them and it’s added to the main feed.

The ‘like’ button on the introduction posts automatically becomes “Say Hi” or “Welcome, <first name>” etc.

We think this would make the user at home with the community and also get some initial engagement from other members of the community.

If you like it - upvote it. If you wish to make a suggestion- add it below.

I strongly support this! Only about 1% of all the members who sign up post their introductions. I've tried adding a template to help them create an introduction; but it's not working. I'd love to see this.

This is a game-changer. I believe we can't wait to have it launched

This is a good feature except the "Tell me a Joke" for my community at least. It will help me to maintain "professionalism" in the community.
