Important :: Default Community Session Duration Update

We've recently rolled-out a change to the session lifetime. Until now, we had a 30-day window for users to stay logged-in. That is, if the user logged-in today, they'd stay logged-in for the next 30 days unless they explicitly logged-out.

If they visited in the next 30 days, their session would be updated and they'd stay logged-in for the next 30 days.

Session window is now 7 days

User once logged-in will have their logged-in state maintained for a period of 7 days. If the revisit in the next 7 days, their session would extend by another 7 days. Otherwise, the user will have to log-in again.

We're going to experiment with the new session times for the next few weeks. We'll adjust the window depending upon feedback from our community owners.
