I’m new to Jatra. I’m a solo founder building a SaaS. One of the goals I have for my SaaS is to build an active community of our users. We have about 60 customers right now and growing steadily.

I have a few questions:

  1. Do you think it’s the right time to start working on a community?

  2. How should I get started with my community building effort?

Thank you in advance. Look forward to connecting with fellow entrepreneurs and community makers!

Welcome to Jatra! Let me get straight to the answers:

    1. Yes, 60 customers is more than enough to start working on your community. My advice is to start building the community on the day you start building your product.

Starting early gives you an advantage. It allows you to build a personal connect with your early customers. You can use your community to build loyalty and reduce your churn - a metric that every SaaS founder cares for.

TL;DR: Yes, start working on your SaaS community right away. We'd be happy to host your community on Jatra and help you build your SaaS community. It's our forte.

    1. We wrote a detailed guide - How to Build and Grow a SaaS Community . Do give that guide a read and let me know if you have further, specific questions. I'll be happy to help you build your community.
