I noticed that there’s a new changelog channel and it displays all the latest updates released by Jatra. I think having changelog tool integrated with community is awesome.
I would like to integrate it with our community as well. Is it an add-on and how much does it coast?

The changelog tool is availble to all Jatra customers for their communities. It's not an add-on; but we offer a native support to it.
We realised that many business communities are built around product or service that need to push product updates regularly. These businesses often have to invest in a separate changelog tool and maintain it.
We thought why not integrate it in your community so that your users automatically get all the updates. It also makes it convenient to manage along with the community.
Oh - it's 100% free for all Jatra customers. Just ask for it and we'll enable it. I've turned it on for your community, Angela.

I like your approach, team! We were actually looking for a new changelog tool to publish all our feature releases and product updates. I like the look and tight integration with the community.
When a new changelog is published, do the members get notified via email?

I'm glad you liked it. Right now we do not automatically notify members whenever a new changelog is published.
However, I like the suggestion. I have added it to our planned updates. I don't have a concrete date for its release; but I think we should have it ready in our January 2025 update. We are currently focused on launching a massive SEO update. I'll update the changelog as soon as we release a new version of Jatra.

I am impressed! It's good that there's a separate form to properly write changelog along with versioning and tags. I've not seen this anywhere. Really excited for the future of Jatra and what It does to communities.
