Yesterday, Kaustubh and I talked for more than 90 minutes. Not just about Jatra, but about the entire Community Industry and your communities as well. It was a genuinely enjoyable and open discussion.

And it got me thinking.

For those of you who came here from another platform, perhaps Discord, what do you think makes this platform exceptional? Who do you think is its ideal customer?

And most importantly, what is the one thing Kaustubh might not see because of his professional experience and 20 years in the industry?

Letโ€™s think about it together. Perhaps you see something that someone inside the platform simply cannot see.

@rambling-rabbit - recently switched from Discord to Jatra. Could you please share your thoughts?

@norman - would love to hear from you as well.

First of all I do not like Discord, so finding a different platform for my community was much needed. I personally like the admin tools they are simple and easy to understand and use, I also feel like I have more control in helping and guiding the community on how to use the platform.

I really like how the platform looks, people in my space love the clean and organized the platform feels and being able to see everything in the main feed that you have access to is nice, I don't like having to click around to places to see what is happening in other channels unless I am looking for something.

The ideal customer is had to pinpoint for me becasue I can see many different things that could find this platform very useful. My creative partner and I were building a course of study with different types of subjects at one point in time and had to put it on the back burner because the platform we were using was not user friendly, hard to navigate, figuring out how to get to the different courses was confusing and people we had in our beta course lost interest real fast it wasn't very communal feeling. I think this platform would work nicely for for what we were building.

My current community is slowly coming in and once they get over their shyness and posting fear I know they will settle right in with sharing their projects and stories. Private rooms will take off and so will the shops. I feel I have just dipped my toe into what this platform is going to be able to become an do for my community. I find it rather exciting and inspiring.
