Hey everyone! I’ve been thinking a lot about how online communities are evolving and where they might be headed. I joined this community after reading Are Online Forums Dead? by admin of this community. Sure, online forums are not dead.

I am concerned whether the engagement will shift to niche communities or broader networks. What trends do you think will take over like WEB3, VR or AI.

Well, great post, Sara! The future of online communities is bright. Virtual communities are evolving, not dying. In the early days, communities were all about discussions. But now, they are more about events, chats, quizzes, competitions, polls, webinars and more.

Advancements in AI, WEB3 and VR will only make communities richer. The goal is to create an immersive, decentralised experience. Niche groups thrive because they can offered tailed experiences, interactions to members.

Are online communities growing? Absolutely! In an AI-driven world, people want deeper connections and human-experienced. Jatra is leaping towards letting community builders create engaging and meaningful experiences for their users.
