What makes people stay active in communities?
Just about a week ago, we held a feedback session with our ~20 beta users. Everyone had lots of points to discuss. Everyone wanted to contribute something or the other.
But today, there's hardly any chatter. I'm trying different things so that people will have thing to respond to. Tagging helps. It brings people and sometimes they type a response. But then they go quiet again.
Anyone who is managing community with 100+ members, what is working for you? I cannot hold online events frequently because I don't see the point and I do not have the bandwidth. Am I doing it wrong, or do I need to adjust my expectations from the community?
