Jatra 3.2.1 :: Scheduling Expands to More Post Types
You can now schedule Discussions and Changelog posts in Jatra. The scheduling flow is consistent across supported post types, so once you learn it once, it feels the same everywhere.
What’s new
Schedule Discussions
You can now publish Discussions at a future date and time.
Important: Scheduling Discussions is available only to Owner, Admin, and Mod roles. This is by design.
Schedule Changelog posts
Changelog posts now support scheduling using the same flow as Articles.
Schedule Announcements
Admins / Owners of community can now schedule announcements.
Consistent scheduling rules across post types
You can schedule while creating a post.
You can reschedule only if the post is already scheduled.
Scheduled time must be in the future.
Cleaner, standardized scheduler UI
The scheduler panel is now standardized across all supported post types.
The preview format is cleaner and consistent, for example:
Publish at: March 27, 2026 @ 3:17 PM
Timezone stays visible inside the scheduler panel, while the preview text avoids repeating it.
No change to moderation and publishing behavior
Scheduled posts continue to show up in the Scheduled moderation/feed flow.
Publishing behavior remains consistent and predictable when the scheduled time is reached.
We hope our customers will find this feature useful.
PS: Special thanks to @stevenway for requesting this feature. 🙌
