New: Community SEO, Layout Optimization and Performance Improvements
I’m excited to release the version 2.2.0 - our major update to Jatra in 2025. This release is paced with amazing features, massive SEO improvements and of course, performance improvements.

Community SEO
SEO has been at the heart of Jatra Community Platform. In this release, we have reworked Jatra’s SEO from ground up.

Automatic Structured Data to “Article” Post-Type
We now automatically inject Google-recommended “structured data” snippet to all your articles.
The markup has been validated through official Schema Markup Validator. We’ll continue to make improvements to structured data and roll it out for other content types in coming weeks.
What does it mean to you?
Over the course of next few weeks, you should see improvement in rankings of your articles. We will keep an eye and we encourage you to share your feedback with us.
H1/H2 Tags Optimization
When it comes to SEO, the TITLE tag is one of the most important parts of your HTML. To take things further, we have now optimised the organization of H1 and H2 tags on your page.
You will notice that the H1 tags are visually larger on show pages. The H2 tags will have smaller font-size.
Better Layout
We have worked on improving the community layout and organization. You will see that the Article, Discussion, Changelog and Feedback post types look much better on both Desktop and Mobile layouts.
Post Views
We now display the “post view count” with each ‘view'/’show’ page. It gives you a quick insight into how popular the post is. Of course, you’ll soon have a bird-eye view of your community through our Analytics.
Performance Optimization
We fixed a few embarrassing queries and optimised for performance. We also fixed a few bugs on the sitemap generation so that your sitemaps are always up to date with latest activity on your community.
