  • Best community platform for alumni network?

    Hey team, happy to be a part of Jatra community. We are looking to host a forum for our alumni network. We started with Slack and then switched to WhatsApp. But the problem is, our WhatsApp groups have no activity. Just 2-3 members post daily and most of the messages are spammy “good morning” greetings and forwards from other groups. Most of the members in the group are not happy. We tried sharing guidelines; but it didn’t help.

    Someone suggested we look at an open forum or community platform instead of WhatsApp. I therefore began research and found out Jatra through reddit.

    Some of the requirements -

    1. We don’t want the hassle of hosting the forum

    2. We want to share jobs on the community. Most of our alumni are looking to hire for their own businesses or their orgs.

    3. Should work on mobile

    Frankly speaking, none of us know how to build a community. I hope to get some help here.
