Thoughts on using AI to build community content?
AI is everywhere. I am thinking of using AI-generated content on our community. Is there any downside to it? Let me know.

I've been vocal against using 100% AI content anywhere. Sure AI can write better than you; but you know what - it misses that human touch. My golden rule is:
Stay away from 100% AI-generated content. It may give you initial SEO boost, but it's likely to fail in the longer run. There were certain experiments done with hundreds of AI-generated articles posted on a blog. After initial traffic, the traffic went down.
Always go for human-assisted AI. It's faster, it's better and it just works!

Thank you for the response. You had spoken about using AI in Jatra community. If not content creation - how are you planning to use AI in Jatra?

I've seen good results with AI content. The key is to not copy and paste content from ChatGPT or other AI tools. You need add human perspective to make the AI content succeed in SEO.
I've also noticed that you don't need to publish frequently. We are maintaining a frequency of 2 insightful articles per week. It doesn't burden our team (3 people, lol) and the traffic referrals are growing steadily.

We use AI agents internally. But I'd keep AI out of community. AI is getting better at mimicing humans, but it lacks the depth and connect that a real human can build. Communities are the places where we expect real human interaction.

There's no escaping from AI. I can say 100% of our content is AI-processed. We build the outlines and themes with AI, feed it to AI for improvement and then have the AI build the content.
However, we make sure that our own insights are added before any of it goes live. We use AI for writing community posts, our landing page, our DMs and even the community newsletter.
