    Responsibilities of a Community Manager

    Community managers handle the overall responsibility of the community and manage its growth, culture and development. A community manager is responsible for

    1. Development of community engagement strategies.
    2. Organizing, managing community events, workshops, meetings etc.
    3. Content creation to keep the community useful for new and existing members
    4. Monitoring, analyzing the community performance
    5. Managing community feedback.
    6. Collaborating with marketing, sales and development teams

    Typical Daily Activities of Community Managers

    A community manager's day can be quite varied. They have to wear multiple hats to achieve community objectives.

    1. Responding to posts, discussions on the community and on social media
    2. Planning an execution of community events
    3. Using data to make critical decisions for community growth and engagement.
    4. Content creation for multiple channels
    5. Handling member disputes
    6. Performing moderation activities to keep community free of spam
