• My partner and I are looking to start a community to support our customers. We run a FinTech startup and currently have a few users testing our app.

We both believe that now is the right time to invest in community building, and we’re exploring several platforms, with Jatra being one of our top choices.

Our main goal is to create a space where we can address common user queries and publish helpful articles to guide our users through the basics of trading and finance.

Our biggest challenge will likely be attracting members to the community. I’d greatly appreciate any tips, tricks, or practical advice on how we can bring members in. Thank you in advance.

I am a big fan of niche communities. They are easier to build and grow and are often packed with immense value that no one resource on the Internet can ever have.

The best way to attract members to a new community is to offer unique, high-value, painkiller content that your potential members are looking for.

Answering questions around the pain points is the fastest way to create value for the community. It builds confidence among the members and encourages them to particiapte in the community.

For example, for your FinTech community, you may start answering the most common questions your target users are searching on the Internet. You'll find that there are not more than ~300 - 500 questions that are unique; and others being slight variations of these questions.

Your 100% focus should be on answering these questions first. This is a necessary and important step before you take your community to the potential users. Unless they see instant value in your community, they won't join.

It's a playbook that always works for every community. If you have questions, I'll be happy to answer.

Are you sure? This action cannot be undone.
