For us, the best tactic to ensure community success is showing up consistently as a community builder. I can't stress the importance of daily presence of community owners and builders of the community; especially in the early days of community building.
Of course, tools, platforms, strategies matter; but nothing replaces the human presence and engaging with your members regularly.
When the community members see the founders and top leadership as active members of the community, they instantly connect. It helps build trust. People feel safe and heard. It creates a culture where members are most likely to contribute, help others and stay active.
I’ve seen communities with amazing tools fall flat because the leadership went quiet. On the other hand, I’ve seen modest setups thrive simply because the host cared deeply and showed up daily.
Well, It doesn’t mean community owners should post daily. Sometimes, it’s as simple as replying to one overlooked post or tagging someone who could help. It's about having your presence felt by the community.
Do it and let me know how it works for you.

Interesting take, Rahul. My best tactic to ensure community success is to reply fast to new discussions. During the early days of CrazyEngineers, I'd reply to new discussions within minutes; and that impressed our new members. They felt connected with the community and some even reached out thanking me.

That's spot on, Rahul. Be active in your own community! That's the #1 trick to build a successful community.
