    Prior to founding the Jatra Community Platform, I served as the Head of Growth at a hyper-growth SaaS startup. Our product teams relied on user feedback, feature requests and customer queries to shape our product roadmap.

    We used Canny to collect feedback from customers. The problem? Our customers were hesitant to sign-up on a new platform just to provide feedback.

    Very innovative feature, Kaustubh. I believe this also acts as an alternative to Canny, UserVoice, Nolt and other similar user feedback tools. I like that the idea of integrating user-feedback with community. All the best!

    Hi Sia - Thank you. It's the feature we ourselves wanted for Jatra's official community.

    The feedback tool is indeed available for your community. You will have to create a new channel and assign "Feedback" post type to it. Give it a try and let me know if you face any issue.

    Some more feedback: Our community members have adopted this feature very well. We now get feedback, feature requests and bug reports from our members quite often. I'd like it if you could notify all the members when an update is posted or the status of the request is changed. Possible?

    Hi Rohit - We are already working on enhanced notification system. I know that notifying everyone who's expressed interest in the feature by upvoting or liking. I don't think Upvoty has this feature.

    Thanks Paula. Yes - Jatra is built as a full-fledged alternative to Upvoty, Canny, UserVoice and other feedback tools, but there's a twist: It's deeply integrated into your branded community.

    This means you do not have to send users to another platform just to share feedback. This is a huge win. Most of the SaaS companies make use of Jatra's feedback tool to track feature requests, bugs and collect praise.

    We run a SaaS and are actively looking for an alternative to Upvoty and Canny. Upvoty pricing plan starts at $15/mo with unlimited boards and users. Canny and Jatra are priced similarly.

    Can you share a few highlights that make Jatra a better alternative to both Upvoty and Canny?
