Experimental: Delete and Ban User [Powerful]
It’s essential to keep our community spam-free. Today, we have launched an experimental feature that is quite powerful. It’s called “Delete and Ban”
Whenever the admins delete any post, they will now get an extra option to delete the post and ban the user.
This is how it looks:
When you click “Delete and Ban”, Jatra’s moderation engine will delete the post but also impose a long-ban on the user. We recommend to use this feature when you are absolutely sure that the user has ill intentions and has joined the community only to spam.
Note: Banning the user bans them from entering any Jatra powered community. We know that this could be harsh sometimes. However, if someone gets banned accidentally, do not panic. We are here to help. Contact me or Jatra staff member through our Contact Us page and we’ll restore the account.
In near future, Jatra Community Owners will have ability to manage user-bans through our Settings Panel.
