Smart Thread Watchers

Version 3.2.6 introduces a new system that lets your users stay updated on the conversations that matter to them. It allows you to watch or unwatch any thread on the community and receive in_app as well as email notifications whenever the thread is applied.

• Watch any thread and receive in_app and email notification when the thread receives a new reply

  

• Auto-Watch:

  • When you create a new thread - it's watched automatically. You'll receive notification when someone replies.

  • When you reply in an existing thread - you are automatically subscribed. Of course, you can turn it off.

• Watch Feed: Whenever the thread you are watching is updated, you can see it from the Post Filters on the home-feed.

Smarter Notifications

Jatra improves the notification systems as well. When watching a thread - we don't want to bombard you with notifications. Jatra's systems automatically prioritizes the notifications for you. For example, if someone replies in a thread your are watching and mentions you, you will only receive one notification - both in_app and email.

The system also respects your preferences. If you unwatch a thread, notifications for thread updates will stop.
