Definition of Community Building : Community building is an act of creating a space where people feel a sense of belonging, shared purpose and ongoing connection with the brand and each other.
It's not just about growing numbers. It's about nurturing trust, encouraging participation, and creating value through conversations, collaboration and shared experiences.
Example:
A mental health community isn't just a place to post articles. It's where people open up, support one another, share coping tips, attend check-ins, and feel heard. That emotional connection is community building.
