Sorry for multiple posting. I wish to know if it’s a good strategy to quickly reply to the new questions posted by users or wait for the other members to post their reply? I’ve found that other members don’t add anything after I have posted.

I think it’s hampering user-engagement in our community. Thank you.

When your community is new, you should respond to discussions quickly. It helps build the momentum and trust among new members. In order to motivate others to contribute, I often end my response with an open-ended question.

Getting responses from members helps build the discussions and adds various perspectives - which is what makes successful communities.

We have a customer support community. We get notified as soon as a new question is posted on Slack. Our average response time is about 20 - 30 minutes on weekdays and about 4 hours on weekend.
