Hey team, can Jatra be the first platform to support WebMCP? You can make Jatra "agent-ready"and I think it's super exciting.

AFAIK, WebMCP allows AI agents to interact with websites in a structured way. Instead of clicking random buttons or scraping the DOM, agents can reliably fill forms, trigger actions and complete workflows with clarity.

I also worry about the SPAM though. But there are several benefits:

    • Agents can help members create accurate responses

    • Search and summarize discussions

    • Navigate filters / complex threads

It could make Jatra the first platform to support the upcoming standard.

Thank you for the suggestion, @rohit !

We’re actively exploring WebMCP support for Jatra. I agree this can unlock better search, summaries, navigation, and assisted writing.

    We’ll take a safety-first rollout:

    • Read-only capabilities first (search, summarize, discover threads).

    • Write actions later, only with strict permissions and explicit user confirmation.

    • Spam controls by default: scoped agent tokens, rate limits, moderation hooks, and audit logs.

We want Jatra to be early here, but not reckless. I’ll publish a technical RFC and early beta plan once we finalize scope.
