Jatra 3.2.5 :: OG Image Improvements

We've published an update the improves the automatic OG-IMG generation for discussions, posts that do not have an attached image.

OG IMG aka OpenGraph Image is typically loaded when a link on your Jatra-powered community is shared via social media or messaging apps like WhatsApp.

For example, when you share a link on Jatra Community, we generate the OpenGraph image using title, channel and community information. This allows messaging apps or social networks generate a nice image.

Benefits:

• Better meta data

• Improved clicks on the shared links

For posts with featured images (like in our Article and Blog post types), the featured image is automatically chosen as the OG-IMG. Take a look:

The OG images follow the theme selected for community. If you prefer the dark mode, OG IMG automatically is rendered with dark-mode settings.
