Best way to promote your community?

We use X and Instagram to promote our community. Our SEO traffic is growing gradually, but we have several KPIs to meet. I understand that organic growth compounds over time, yet our management team wants to see results sooner. We have a limited budget for community promotion and to increase our member count. X and Instagram bring in a few hundred sign-ups, but the customer acquisition cost isn’t impressive.

I’d appreciate your suggestions on how we can promote the community more effectively and drive better conversions.

    The best way to promote your community is to hang out in places where your audience already hangs out. For example, we found out that our target audience was active on Reddit. We started being active in all relevant subreddits - and created valuable content in the form of posts and replies.

    We'd casually mention our brand without getting banned - and that appealed to our early users. Few people joined in and found our content and community interesting.

    SEO traffic grows steadily. You are on the right path - creating valuable content for users and building topical authority. That will drive massive growth with compounding effect in the months to come. The key is to not lose patience. The returns will be massive, I promise.
