Request to Implement Social and Distribution Links in Author Profile on Priority

Profile links will be a part of the upcoming layout upgrade we are planning. While the design spec is not final yet, we hope to support a limited number of custom profile links. We'll consider this request while designing the new user profiles.

Unfortunately, we could not spot the earlier request to add social links to profile.

Over the last two years, I have learned one thing the hard way: I cannot rely only on organic growth with the hope that one day Google will notice the project and start sending consistent traffic. Every time we try to align with one part of Google’s algorithm, the search ecosystem changes again.

Please note that adding social links to user profile does not affect search visibility, indexing or ranking.

As of now, we are unable to confirm release date. We have a couple of updates planned, which will release on priority. Profile links update will need the layout update first; which significantly changes the way profile can be edited. Thank you for your patience.
